J N Brancato and Son Home Improvements is a Western New York based residential and commercial construction company that has been building extraordinary structures for over 100 years. Five Generations of Knowledge, Skill and Experience Our Company was founded in the early 1900s by Leonard Brancato (born in Caccamo, Sicily), a professional cement mason. He was unable to speak any English when he arrived here in the USA yet managed to build a successful business from nothing. His traits and knowledge were passed along to John Brancato (born in Mayville, NY), also a professional mason. John's son Nicholas C. Brancato, another professional mason and master woodworker carried on the tradition. Nick was a man with a God-Given ability to build and finish any type of wood project with perfection which he passed along to his three sons. Mike, the youngest of the three passed away at the age 42 while operating M J Brancato General Construction. The company is now operated by John. N. Brancato Jr. who has had the unique ability to learn specialty traits from both his uncles and his father. John Sr. gave John Jr. a great start and a business minded personality.
