P/T F/C Bookkeeper, Woodlawn, Bronx, NY

We are a Bronx-based, successful and expanding group of school bus companies seeking a Part-Time, Full Charge Bookkeeper.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and multitask under tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who is passionate about numbers and organization, with strong attention to detail, and fond of working in a team setting. The F/C Bookkeeper will assist with day-to-day office and financial operations of the companies.
Requirements:
Day-to-day bookkeeping and/or AP, AR functions
Heavy QuickBooks, including management of cash flow, GL, P&L, etc.
Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong ability to reconcile accounts, expenses and run reports
Capable of learning new software and programs
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Accounting administrative experience
Carry out any other duties/ad-hoc projects as needed

This position reports directly to the Controller.

This position is completely part-time, 18 hours per week, and will NOT grow into a full-time position.
The schedule for this position is:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6 hours per day
Initial hours: 10am-4:30pm*, which includes a 30 minute, unpaid lunch break
*Upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, work times could potentially change upon approval of the Controller, however, the work days will remain the same (Tues-Wed-Thurs).
